Athlete preparations

The wonderful nature and regulated sports infrastructure are the best combination for quality training and unforgettable memories.

Natural sights, sports facilities, freshness of the forests, numerous hiking and cycling routes and friendly accommodation provide athletes and clubs the best conditions for sports preparations and practice implementation. Good conditions are provided to teams as well as individual athletes. In larger settlements sports facilities are united into modern sport and recreational centres. Providers of sport programmes and managers of the infrastructure have years of experience with groups of athletes, the satisfaction of which is best reflected by them happily returning again and again.

The Radlje ob Dravi Sports Centre comprises modern and diverse sports facilities and surfaces for a number of sports, recreation, and social activities. The Centre consists of four sections – the Sports House, the Sports Stadium, the Urban Park and the TRC REŠ.

Sports Facilities

Radlje ob Dravi Sports House

  • large hall (40 x 20 m) for handball, five-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, badminton
  • high climbing wall (235 m²)
  • low climbing wall – boulder (60 m²)
  • dance hall
  • exercise space for toddlers

Opening hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Radlje ob Dravi Sports Stadium​

  • football stadium (with reflectors)
  • auxiliary football field
  • running track (tartan, 4 400-m lanes, 4 100-m lanes, steeplechase)
  • area for long jumps and triple jumps
  • area for high jumps
  • area for shot put

Opening hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Urban Park

  • urban bike park
  • area for street exercise
  • artificial grass field 20 x 40
  • running track with sand surface

Opening hours: seasonal, open surfaces

Other Outdoor Facilities

  • tennis courts (2 sand tennis courts with lighting)
  • beach volleyball court
  • multi-purpose concrete court (handball, basketball, five-a-side football)
  • bowling centre (bowling, nine-pin bowling)

Opening hours:seasonal, open surfaces, except for the bowling centre (every day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.)

TRC Reš (Reš Tourist and Recreation Centre):

  • Water Park swimming pool
  • beach volleyball court
  • grass five-a-side football field
  • height park

Opening hours: during the swimming pool hours

Organisation of sports teams and individual preparations (which sports, when):

Football, handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, athletics, bowling, nine-pin bowling, sport climbing, badminton. All year, upon prior arrangement.
