Geopark Karavanke

Discover the area of incredible geological and geomorphological heritage, as well as natural and cultural heritage. The central point of the cross-border UNESCO Geopark is the Peca Underground (Podzemlje Peca) in Mežica which holds the Information Centre, the mining museum, and the entrance to the abandoned mine, which can be experienced on foot, by bicycle or by kayak.
