Arriving to destination

By car, train, plane, bicycle or on foot, regardless of the path that leads you here, the Koroška region welcomes you with open arms. Hidden from the crowd, accessible from all directions.

The Koroška region is located in the north of Slovenia. Despite its diverse and mostly hilly landscape, it is accessible from all directions. The simplest way is to drive from one landmark to another, yet you can best discover the hidden spots and the most beautiful views by bicycle or on foot. The nearby airports, such as Klagenfurt, Graz and Ljubljana, are about 50 to a little over 100 kilometres away and enable easy access to the destination from the farthest places.

It will take you about 40 minutes to drive from the A1 Slovenian highway (exit Arja Vas) to reach the Koroška region and about 20 minutes from the A2 Austrian highway (exits Griffen or Sankt Andrä). The road network across the entire destination enables accessibility of the entire region.

You can use public transportation to travel to the Koroška region from larger Slovenian cities. Regular lines are also available between different towns in the region.
