Sport climbing In the Topla regional park, under Peca, Burjakove Peči climbing area stands in the heart of the green freshness. Try out the climbing areas, which are ranked as one of the best in Slovenia due to their height and rock quality. The wall faces south-east, meaning you will not only be able to enjoy perfect peace but also climb even when other climbing areas are hot from the sun. There are also several other quality and regulated climbing areas in the Koroška region: Matvoz in Javorje , Štenge above Mežica, Kot above Prevalje, Votla peč near Ravnah na Koroškem, Zabričnikova peč, Sele climbing area as well as Kalvarija, Perkolica and Prepihova dolina near Radljah ob Dravi. Description of Burjakove Peči The wall includes about 68 climbing routes with grades between 3 and 8C, and lengths from 6 to 55 metres. Difficulty rating: 4a–4c (3), 5a–5c (6), 6a–6b+ (28), 6c–7a+ (22), 7b–7c+ (19), 8a–9b (13). Best time to go: from April0to October . Type of bolts: glue-in bolts and drilled bolts. Access: possible with vehicles, there is a parking lot under the wall. Distance from the parking lot: 1-10 min walk Route altitude: 6–50 m.
