Medieval Prelude Slovenj Gradec

Traditionally, in June, Slovenj Gradec transforms for two days into the center of medieval happenings. Visitors can trade, bargain, and purchase at the medieval market with original medieval coins from the former city mint. Food and drink will be provided by the ‘Pri merjascu’ tavern, which promises a diverse and, above all, delicious offering. The best knight groups from abroad will be guests, staging fierce knightly battles where sparks will fly as in ancient times. Of course, we have not forgotten our youngest visitors, who will be able to ride the medieval carousel, enjoy puppet shows, marvel at the magic of the medieval wizard, have fun with court jesters, and try their hand at medieval games. Rumor has it that our medieval gingerbread maker is preparing a delicious surprise that is truly not to be missed. Mouths will water and taste buds will be pampered!
