Lešnik Organic Tourist Farm
The Lešnik Organic Tourist Farm is proud of its rich selection of local cuisine, based primarily on home-grown products. Their offerings include seasonal vegetables, potatoes, meat, home-made cured meats, home-milled grain, and bread from a wood-fired oven. They produce honey in their own apiary and prepare winter stores such as juices, jams, compotes, and sauerkraut, as well as drying herbs and fruit for teas.
Their culinary tradition is widely recognized; the “Pohorski kohi” group, led by the farm’s hostess Irma at the nearby primary school, became national champions in local cuisine with their pumpkin soup and “kvočevi nudlni” (dried pear dumplings).
The farm is located in a secluded, peaceful natural environment and serves as an excellent starting point for numerous excursions, mountain biking, paragliding, sledding, and skiing. It offers visitors contact with a rich natural and cultural heritage that preserves traditions, wooden toys, folk songs, and customs.
The location is particularly suitable for families with children, and the new facility with modern rooms is also adapted for people with disabilities. Guests have access to a farm campsite, areas in a traditional hayrack with a large screen for watching movies, space for tents and motorhomes, Wi-Fi, and Finnish, infrared, or herbal saunas.
Accommodation capacities include various rooms and an apartment for four to six people.
