Rooster Spirits is a family-run distillery from the Slovenj Gradec area, building its story on distilling tradition, natural ingredients, and the boutique production of high-quality spirits. Their range includes various distillates, including gin, Williams pear brandy, juniper brandy, and blueberry brandy. They place special emphasis on selected local ingredients, hand-picked or carefully sorted fruit, and their own water, which further rounds out the taste of their drinks. Their gin is based on grain spirit made from Slovenian barley, complemented by juniper berries, herbs, and spices.
The renovated Šnopsarija will offer a space where visitors can get to know their story, products, and the character of the local distillery more closely. It will be designed as an experience for lovers of authentic flavours, quality spirits, and local stories with a distinct Carinthian character.
