In Carinthia, the land of King Matjaž, surrounded on all sides by natural beauty, lies a farm above the town of Mežica that impresses guests upon arrival with a magnificent view of Mount Peca.

The farm appeals to culinary enthusiasts stopping for lunch or a snack, as well as guests wishing to stay in Carinthia for a day or more. Dishes are prepared according to the traditional recipes of their ancestors. The kitchen is filled with the aroma of Carinthian lunches, pear-filled dumplings (kvočevi štruklji), and buckwheat spoonbread (ajdovi žganci), while homemade rye bread and suckling pig are baked in the bread oven every weekend. In addition to homemade cured meats, they also offer cottage cheese and pâté for snacks.

The farm also features two log cabins which, in addition to the comfort of an apartment, offer relaxation in a private sauna, hot tub, and massage chair.
