Nature and experiences

On the Slovenian side, the Geopark is particularly defined by the Mežica Valley, Peca, the Topla Landscape Park, the Peca Underground and mining heritage, offering visitors unique experiences—from exploring geological features and natural assets to cycling through mine tunnels, hiking, educational trails and interpretive content. The Karavanke Geopark is therefore not only a place for nature conservation, but also an area for connection, learning and the sustainable development of tourism.
