Črna na Koroškem Ski Resort

The Črna na Koroškem Ski Resort is located right next to the town and offers a variety of slopes for beginners, recreational skiers, and slalom and giant slalom training. With artificial snowmaking, night skiing, and nearby cross-country skiing trails, it is an excellent choice for families, outdoor school programs, and anyone looking for a relaxed skiing experience without the crowds.

The Črna na Koroškem Ski Resort is located practically in the heart of the village. Although it features a single 800-meter drag lift, its 15 hectares of skiable area and 3 kilometers of slopes with various configurations offer experiences for all types of skiers. The resort's quality is evidenced by the fact that local skiers, such as Olympic and World Champion Tina Maze, as well as Katjuša Pušnik, Mitja Kunc, and Aleš Gorza—who later became world-class competitors with World Cup victories—all made their first turns here.  

The ski resort is beginner-friendly, as evidenced by the many satisfied participants of outdoor school programs who enjoy returning later, while it also caters to more demanding recreational skiing. Significant attention is given to competitive skiing in Črna, with the terrain prepared for slalom and giant slalom training and competitions. Thanks to the artificial snowmaking system, skiing is typically guaranteed well into spring. Additional lighting also enables night skiing. Cross-country skiing trails are maintained in Logi, in the immediate vicinity of the ski resort, and in the Bistra Valley, just a few kilometers away. In Črna, you can ski to your heart's content, as crowds and long queues are virtually unknown here.
