Radlje Manor

Visit Radlje Manor and experience forest, history, and art in one place.

Nestled in the green embrace of Radlje ob Dravi, Radlje Manor awaits you – the Cultural and Forest Centre of the Upper Drava Valley. This renovated and modernly designed cultural and tourist centre intertwines rich heritage with an innovative interpretation of nature. Its central attraction is the interactive exhibition "In Harmony with the Forest – Following the Footsteps of Franjo Pahernik," which takes visitors into the world of sustainable forest management, forest biodiversity, and the exceptional legacy of forestry engineer Franjo Pahernik. The exhibition captivates with multimedia content, interactive stations, 3D models, and experiences suitable for all generations.

At the manor, you can also explore the permanent exhibition "We Learned for Life – The Radlje ob Dravi Home Economics School," which presents the rich heritage of girls' education and daily life in the past, as well as the art exhibition "Opus Alchymicum" by academic painter Miro Hajnc, which impresses visitors with its original artistic expression and symbolism.

The manor is a place for exploration, creativity, and gatherings. In addition to exhibitions, it offers a castle café, a museum shop, and a diverse program of guided tours, workshops, and events. Visitors can enhance their forest experience with three guided tourist products – "Forest as a Backdrop," "Family Experience," and "Let's Go Hiking" – which connect the forest, active exploration, and experiencing the local environment in various ways. It is an excellent choice for families, individuals, school groups, and all who wish to discover Radlje ob Dravi through the stories of nature, culture, and people.
