The experience "A Blacksmith in Ravne Forges..." takes visitors into the world of traditional blacksmithing, which lives on in Ravne na Koroškem in a modern, creative form. At the center is blacksmith Tilen Šumah, a mechanical engineer from Kotelje, who preserves original blacksmithing knowledge and combines it with research, technical understanding of materials, and a love for handcraft. His products have also been awarded the Certificate of Domestic and Artistic Crafts.

A visit to the blacksmith's atelier is an opportunity for visitors to experience up close the work with fire, anvil, and hammer. Blacksmithing once represented one of the key crafts of every larger village, but today it is increasingly rare in its original form. In his work, Tilen creates functional, decorative, and unique objects, while explaining to visitors the forging processes, proper use of tools, characteristics of materials, and the importance of knowledge that was once passed down from generation to generation.

The experience is not merely a demonstration of an old craft, but an encounter with living mastery, where every strike of the hammer carries a story of patience, precision, and respect for the material. Visitors can feel the warmth of the fire, the weight of the tools, and the creativity with which iron takes on new form and purpose.
